Official: Nokia will be back in the smartphone business by 2017

Rumours are spreading here and there about the possible return of Nokia to the smartphone market which already seems to be true.
Meaning by 2017 the king will be back.

The Nokia company has officially acknowledged that the new Nokia branded smartphones will be released by 2nd quarter of 2017, though there is still a possibility that they may be unvielled this year ahead of the release date.

However the Nokia company isn't really going to produce any of these Android powered smartphone. It will just act as the owner. HMD will handle the production process which will add the Nokia brand and patents along with with Foxconn's R&D and manufacturing prowess.

HMD had earlier sign a ten-year agreement for using the Nokia brand name on mobile phones, and it will spend not less than €500 million in marketing in the first three years in which it's going to sell those smartphones.
