The way smartphones operates these days are different to what we saw some years back. We now have phones of about 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. With this more apps and services are being used. And more process are being executed. So you hardly find a phone that last for 24hrs if heavily used.
The guide below will help you get a decent lifeline for your smartphone battery.
HOW TO MAKE YOUR SMARTPHONE BATTERY LAST LONGER

1) CONTROL YOUR SCREEN DISLAY:
I know some of you may not know that this usually consumes lot of battery. Screen light is powered by the battery so the higher it is, the more power it consumes. Just try and reduce the light and you will notice a significant increase in the life of your smartphone battery.
2) AVOID MINIMISING TOO MUCH APPS:
This is the worst, minimising too much app will not only kill your battery faster, but will also slow down your phone. Always try to run large apps one by one. When these apps run, they are using the memory, battery and resources of your phone and at the end reduce your battery life span.
3) KILL BACKGROUND APPS:
there are some apps that are running in your phone background that you don't actually know about. These apps consumes lot of battery power. So make sure you always check and close them frequently to avoid drainage of battery. learn how to use shutapp to close background applications
4) STOP USING YOUR PHONE WHILE CHARGING:
Yes, always allow it to charge. Using your phone while charging will kill your battery faster. If you still want to know why? You can google it.
5) UNINSTALL ALL BATTERY AND RAM BOOSTER APP(eg. Du speed booster):
I know of people the have more than 5 battery and RAM booster apps in their phone, they may not know that's it's causing more harm than good. The truth is that these apps consumes lot of battery and RAM resources. The app I recommended In step 3 should be able to do all the work.
