Full list of mobile phones that will no longer support whatsapp by 2017

It's no news that whatsapp will soon be ending support for some mobile device come December 31.

this is the official list of the mobile OSs that will no longer support whatsapp messenger.

Android : phones running Android 2.1 and Android 2.2 OS

Windows : phones running Windows Phone 7 OS

iPhone: 3GS/ iOS 6

Recently, whatsapp extended the support date for some devices to June 2017.

Blackberry: devices running Balckberry OS and Blackberry 10

Nokia: Nokia S40 and Nokia S60 (which includes, asha 200, 201 205 and so on)



This is a very bad news for Nigerians that are still holding on to their blackberry and Nokia devices. 
 if you are still using any of these phones this is the right time for you to upgrade to a supported device.
