Some specs to look out for when buying an Android smartphone

Just like real life, there are some features that you should take a look at before purchasing any smartphone.
These are the things that will keep your smartphone going and running smoothly without giving you any headache.

So now we take a look at some of the components that a smartphone should have before you consider buying it.

1) a battery of atleast 3,000mah: battery is the most important component of a smartphone, without a healthy and high capacity battery, you may not enjoy your phone the way you suppose to, because you will need to charge it too many times a day, especially if you use it constantly like me.

2) RAM and CPU (random access memory) : the RAM is always a very important factor when buying a new phone, RAM of atleast 2GB is recommended. With this you don't have to worry about hanging or your phone not running smoothly. As for the CPU, you should consider a 1.4ghz quad core processor.

3) OTA Update (over the air update) : this is the wireless delivery of new software or data to mobile phones and tablets. With this function you are sure that you are been updated with latest information, security patches and newest version of your mobile phone operating system. If this function is not present, you may never be able to upgrade to the latest Android version available, thus making your phone outdated.

4) 4G LTE network : 4G LTE is a network that provides speed of up to 10x what 3G network offers, so imagine 10x of 3G, just imagine how fast it will be. although 4G LTE is not currently available in all parts of Nigeria, but you should consider it. Because when it starts being available you will not be left behind.

These are far the most important things to consider, and I hope that after you have finish reading this article, you will gain some knowledge about smartphones and how to choose the Best for yourself.
